Find Your Purple Hair -The Blog

Hey there!

Pam Spinker Find Your Purple Hair
My crew…minus the grown one 😉

Glad you stopped by! It’s so nice to meet you!

I’m Pam. I’m a wife of 25 years to Justin, a man who is my perfect other half, homeschooling Mom of 6 humans, dog mom (yes, I treat our dog like a human), author, speaker, and mentor for natural wellness and homeschooling.

I am in my happy place when around people having great conversations and discussing ways to continually learn and grow and be the best versions of ourselves.

When I need a peopling time-out – yes, I can over-people – you can find me reading a “suck-you-in-from-the-first-page” fiction book, binge watching The Office or New Girl re-runs, or listening to true crime podcasts. My husband doesn’t understand my fascination with this; you get me, right?!

A few years ago I felt a call from the Lord to use my voice for His Kingdom. I was nervous and I didn’t know what that meant, but I knew I was being called to be obedient to the future He laid out for me. So, I began a journey of prayer, diving into Scripture, writing ideas in notebooks, journals, sticky notes, on my mirror, wherever I could put pen (or marker) to paper (or glass). Along this journey, 2020 happened. Choosing not to let my suddenly open schedule go to waste, I joined a couple friends, who were also feeling called to other parts of who they are, and began learning how to determine who my audience should be, how to effectively connect with them, and how to reach them. Truth be told, some of these skills I set out to learn were to reach people for natural wellness; what came about was my first book, followed by a discovery guide, a website, blog, and the realization that God was calling me to speak on stage.

I can say with confidence that 2020 was a lot of things, but it certainly wasn’t wasted!

Once I wrote out my book content, more ideas came flooding. They all seem scattered in different categories, until one day it hit me. These categories all have 2 things in common: me and freedom. This is why I am so grateful you are here reading this; you being here means you are ready to live in freedom – in Christ, in your authentic self, in your wellness, in homeschooling. Every conversation you and I have will connect to freedom in some area of your life – even if it may not seem like it at the time. It’s time, sweet friend, to discover what it is to be free and to live as one who is free.

Welcome! I am so blessed you are here!

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” Galatians 5:1
